1. When baking an upside-down
cake, line the cake pan with aluminum foil,
folding foil over edges. After cake is
baked, let it stand on wire cake rack for 5
minutes. Place serving plate on top of cake,
turn cake upside down and remove pan.
Carefully Remove foil. Cakes comes out of
pan quickly and pan is easy to clean.
2. To make your own cinnamon
sugar combine 1/2 cup fine, granulated sugar
with 1 tablespoon cinnamon. use for
sprinkling on warm not-to-be-iced cakes and
cupcakes.
3. If cooked white
frosting has "sugared" somewhat, beat in a
small amount of lemon juice.
4. Use kitchen scissors
wet with hot water to cut pitted dates in
strips or slices.
5. To cut shredded coconut
place it in deep glass jar or measuring cup;
then cut with kitchen scissors. |
