Ingredients:
1 spring onion (white part only) |

| Making: | ||
| 1. | In a food processor chop the spring onion and water chestnut or bamboo shoots. Add the prawn meat, egg and water. Grind to a smooth, light paste. | |
| 2. | Spread prawn mixture evenly over each bread slice. Remove crusts and cut each slice into four triangles. | |
| 3. | Dip into sesame seeds to coat evenly. | |
| 4. | Deep-fry in moderately hot oil, filling side downwards until light golden. Turn and fry the bread side briefly, then remove and drain. | |
| 5. | Serve hot with a sweet and sour or plum sauce. | |
